We remember Annie as a once regular attendee at our events, including our seminar series, our Summer retreats in Cumbria and our Christmas dinners. Annie was a person of tremendous warmth and kindness, with a contagious laughter and a vivid intelligence, which she never used in an aggressive way - as our convenor Liam Shields says, "her interventions in seminars were always constructive and co-operative. She was intervening to lend a hand, not to knock things down." We remember her for her characteristic warmth and charm, her cutting-edge work on well-being and dementia, and the broad range of knowledge and expertise which she brought to MANCEPT.
